Disclosures
Risk Disclosures
Crypto trading and automation carry material risk. Review these disclosures before using MoonSwap with real funds.
Market and Token Risk
Digital assets can be volatile, illiquid, manipulated, deprecated, or lose all value. Token metadata and social links may be incomplete or misleading.
Execution Risk
Quotes can expire or move before signing. Slippage, route changes, failed transactions, priority fees, RPC outages, and liquidity changes can affect execution. Quote-only benchmark providers are not executable routes and may show an output MoonSwap cannot submit.
Limit and DCA Escrow Risk
A Limit/DCA order moves the approved input amount into a MoonSwap program-controlled PDA vault. Although the program pins the owner, mints, destination, budget, cadence, cycles, expiry, route, minimum output, slippage, price impact, fees, and fill policy, defects, upgrades, congestion, account incompatibility, or failed release transactions can delay or cause loss of access to escrowed assets. Smart-contract and upgrade risk cannot be eliminated.
Automation and Keeper Risk
Limit, DCA, Copy Trade, Auto-Exit, and Sniper features can fail, trigger late, trigger unexpectedly, miss a condition, or remain dry-run or wallet-approved. Autonomous Limit/DCA SEND is disabled until customer-funded execution costs are implemented and independently audited. A DCA cycle buys the configured input amount at the market conditions available when that cycle executes; it does not guarantee an average price, equal token output, or completion of every cycle.
Quote Authority and Routing Risk
A MoonSwap Limit/DCA fill depends on a short-lived route authorization from a separate quote authority and on data from configured RPC and market providers. The on-chain program verifies the signed route, vault debits and credits, user destinations, fee cap, and user-defined limits, but it does not independently determine a fair market price. A compromised, incorrect, delayed, or unavailable quote source, router, RPC provider, keeper, or upgrade authority can cause rejection, delay, unfavorable execution within accepted limits, or loss. Private or protected submission can reduce public exposure but cannot guarantee prevention of front-running, sandwiching, censorship, reordering, or other MEV.
Cancellation and Expiry Risk
Cancellation and expiry require a successful on-chain release to the pinned owner account. A request, interface status, or elapsed deadline alone does not return funds. Network congestion, insufficient transaction fees, provider outages, incompatible token behavior, or program defects may delay recovery.
Fee, Rent, and Wrapped SOL Risk
The customer pays transaction-specific network, priority, Jito, provider, DEX, token, associated-token-account rent, and program-account rent costs when they apply. MoonSwap automation fees apply only to successful confirmed executions. Estimates can differ from actual charges; some rent may be recoverable only by the account owner after the account is empty. Native SOL input may be wrapped for execution, and SOL output may arrive as wrapped SOL in a wallet-owned token account.
Token Program Risk
MoonSwap automated escrow rejects unsupported token behavior and Token-2022 extensions, but token programs, issuers, authorities, transfer restrictions, freezes, taxes, rebases, or malicious code can still create unexpected behavior. Unsupported assets may require a separate wallet-approved transaction.
Wallet and Key Risk
A compromised device, wallet, seed phrase, extension, or signing request can cause permanent loss. MoonSwap support will never need your seed phrase or private key.
Smart Contract, Upgrade, and Infrastructure Risk
Solana programs, routing programs, liquidity venues, RPC providers, indexers, databases, cloud services, multisig systems, keepers, and signers can contain defects, be compromised, disagree, censor requests, or become unavailable. Program upgrades may fix defects or introduce new behavior. On-chain rollback is generally unavailable.
Legal and Tax Risk
Digital-asset rules, sanctions, eligibility, reporting, and tax treatment vary by jurisdiction and can change. You are responsible for determining whether you may use MoonSwap and for obtaining professional advice.
No Insurance or Guarantees
Digital assets held in a wallet or program vault are not bank deposits and may not be insured. MoonSwap route scoring, token safety intelligence, protected execution, escrow rules, monitoring, and recovery procedures do not guarantee profit, safety, availability, finality, cancellation, recovery, or MEV avoidance. You can lose some or all assets used with MoonSwap.
